Welcome

Hello my name is Sinead McTernan and this is my G322 Media AS level Coursework Portfolio blog.This is my journey throughout AS media studies where I will detail all the research and planning towards the construction of my media products. Through these pages i will show the process i go through and actions I take throughout my media course within each section up to final design & evaluation.

The pages will also include changes and improvements I have chosen to make to my planning and preparation of my work in order to make my magazine the best it possibly can be. The adjustments and changes will be shown with detailed explanation of why I made these decisions.

The reason i chose Media Studies is because I took this subject as a GCSE in year 10 and through to Year 11 where i completed the coursework and exam for the subject. I got a good grade in the subject that I was pleased with so I decided to research what AS level Media was about and whether it would interest me and I came to the conclusion that the course sounded really interesting and I felt as if I had the potential to complete the course. Another reason I chose the subject is because I like researching different types of the media and what effect it has on people as well as learning key terminology to do with this subject. By reading magazines and Watching TV I like to reinforce what i have learnt and put it into context of the media due to me feeling like i have a wider knowledge.
