Question Three:

I would want to make sure that the institution I chose had a multi- touch platform approach this is due to me including social media links on my front cover of the magazine. These convergent links will have to be supported by the institution that I have chosen to distribute my magazine. I would want the institution that I choose to have a wide portfolio of other magazines so that I know the success level of distribution before I choose it as my institution. Bauer supports all of the points I have included as well as having a worldwide reputation, it understands the market and the needs of the consumers.

Question Four:

Question Five: How did you attract/ address your audience?

Following on from the videos above I have included two examples of girls who were in my target audience. I asked them questions about my magazine as to how it attracted them. I was able to use genre specific images which readers can relate back to being pop. Colloquial language was used throughout the magazine to be able to relate to the language the readers use being informal and targets them on a more personal level. I added a declarative next to "The Hype!" it adds more excitement to when the audience reads what is on the magazine. The double page spread includes infotainment it provides the readers with questions they have been wanting to ask the band with their reply and reinforces the bond with the readers and the band. The magazine offers a basis of conversation with friends of the same interest and can also be a diversion and escapism from personal issues a reader may have. The personal pronoun "Yours" makes it more exclusive to the reader letting them know once purchased it is theirs and to get them to do this an imperative "buy" is used to influence the reader to do that.

Question Six: What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Question Seven: Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

I feel that from my Preliminary task to my final media product I have made a lot of progress and I feel as if my finishing media product was completed to my full potential. I made changes to my magazine throughout the process of the making.

On my Preliminary task I used publisher and found images from the internet to be able to design a front cover and contents page. I felt as if it was good to include the appropriate codes and conventions due to me doing a lot of research on school magazines but it didn't look appealing to the eye.

In my main task I was able to use other industry specific programmes which enabled me to make my pictures more pleasing and they were my own pictures that I took on a photo shoot specifically for my magazine product. I was also able to make a double page spread without really having any knowledge on how to make it but through the software Page Plus it was easier for me to be able to do this and manipulate my text. I used inspirations for my front cover, contents page and double page spread because it helped me make decisions on making my own product and what was going to be included on each page.

I now feel as if I could make my own media product again without any help because I have got to know about the different technologies that I can use in order to make my magazine look better than when I started and had no knowledge at all and now I know how to meet the needs of a target audience through a magazine Front cover, Contents page and Double page spread.
